Verse 14

Pray for us, O dearest father,
To Jesus Christ, Our King;
That He may bless our lonely home
Where thou once dwelt therein.
And pray that God may give us strength,
To bear our heavy cross;
For no one knows but only He
The treasure we have lost.
How dearly we loved him,
And prayed that he might live,
But Jesus just beckoned,
And we had to give.
Gone from us, but leaving memories,
Death can never take away,
Memories that will always linger,
While upon this earth we stay.
